Dragonfly Earrings
I had to show every possible angle of these beauties!!! The wings are incredibly detailed, but they can only be fully appreciated when light is able to shine through. The wings are coated with iridescent mica powder and varnish to give it a shimmering look.
The intricate pattern in the wings is acheived through a complex process called caning, where I blended and cut different colours together to create a long cane. When sliced, the pattern runs through front to back, so no amount of sun or water exposure will diminish the vibrant colours! (however, with a lot of rubbing or water exposure, the varnish on the wings could wear off over time)
Earrings measure about 5 cm or 2" long, including hooks.

Care and Product Info
All Joy Creations jewellery is hypoallergenic - meaning free from lead and nickel. I have other options like plastic hooks if metal is a no-go for you!
Polymer clay is waterproof and durable, though not indestructable!
When polymer clay gets extremely warm or cold, it may become more breakable, so please handle with care :)Don't panic if they end up in the shower or wash though, I've had many survive that kind of treatment ;)
Please note that due to the handmade nature of each piece of jewellery, there may be slight bubbles or hints of fingerprints that add to the character of each unique piece.
I've taken care to show each piece as true to colour as possible, though the perception of size and colours may vary depending on the screen you're using. So please be aware there might be a slight variation between what you see and what you get.
